How to clean a broom?

Broom are of different types. We will explain each one depending on their use and type:-

1. Normal broom

These types are used in finish floors. Normally, they do not get dirty but when used on a spider web, then they may get dirty. If you have a broom with a spider web attached to it, then there is no choice except to pick it up by hand.

If they do not have any sticky substance, then you can bang dust out of them.

2. Broom used to clean fecal matter

Many farmers use brooms to move fecal matter. They are generally used to push excreta into the drainage canal. But this activity can lead to a dirty broom. Such brooms are generally made from whole plants which are flexible enough after curing them. Due to this nature, such a broom does not degrade easily and can be washed in water.

3. Cloth broom

This type of broom is used mostly nowadays. They are used by soaking in the water most of the time. So, the chance of getting dirty on such a broom is high. They can be cleaned in the following ways:- 

I. Banging out dust

They can be strikes at something to make dust fall on its own.

2. Rinsing

They have plastic shafts and cloth as major components. They add tolerance to some water content. So, they can be rinsed after they have been used. Detergents can also be used to rinse such a broom.

3. Using after cleaning

The cloth broom is mostly used in wet states. But if they are used directly, without prior cleaning by dry broom. Then cloth broom gets dirty easily and does not clean the surface well. Cleaning the floor before cleaning by wet cloth broom is effective as it prevents the broom from getting dirty.
