Broom Vs Vacuum Cleaner

    Broom has been known to too many people for a long time. It is a traditional tool to clean the floor by the process of sweeping. But the advancement of science and technology, sweeping techniques have also been changed.

There are some similarities between these two. Some of them are:- 

1. Both of them serve the purpose of cleaning the floor. 

2. They both are tools. 

Some of the differences between these two are:-

1. Broom is a traditional tool whereas a vacuum cleaner is a modern tool.

2. Broom is cheaper than a vacuum cleaner.

3. Major components of the broom are the stick, trying material, and broom head. Major components of a vacuum cleaner are a battery, wire, collection bag, pipe, and suction head.

4. It has an average life expectancy but later expectancy depends upon the quality of used material. 

5. Broom sweeps less than vacuum cleaner in the same period.

6. Broom is easy to carry.

7. Broom can't be used on rough surfaces but vacuum cleaners can be used. 

8. Broom does not have a collection bag. But vacuum cleaner has. 

9. Broom can be used for small spaces only. It is difficult to use a broom in a large space.

10. Direction of wind affects less in sweeping by a vacuum cleaner.

11. Vacuum cleaner is used more in developed country.

In this way, the vacuum cleaner has got more advantages over broom. It doesn't mean broom's existence has come to an end.
